Out of home advertising (OOH) or the medium of outdoor advertising is made up of many contractors including Clear Channel, JC Decaux, Titan Outdoor, CBS and Primesight. The targeting and execution of poster or outdoor campaigns can be difficult to master due to the overwhelming choice of location and the sheer number of formats available – 96 sheets, 48 sheets, 16 sheets, 6 sheets, branded taxi’s, bus sides and bus backs, as well as other ambient and guerilla mediums.
Outdoor media can be used as: a signpost to your business, at point of sale, a mass market broadcast or simply as a method to advertise to the normally hard to target and highly active commuters or students.
